Meet Your Host Nat
I’m Natalie and I am a stage 4, recurrent cancer thriver. I was diagnosed in my 30s and connected with Trekstock during this time and found a community and great support with other young adults who really understood.
I am a trained dancer having studied at The Urdang Academy (junior associate), Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and then graduating from the prestigious Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
Nat is also a qualified teacher (PGCE with QTS) and have a master's degree from the University of the Arts London.
To survive my cancer I had to have one of the biggest surgeries it’s possible to have and it’s been a long road to recovery. There was a time I wasn’t able to walk without a frame so to be able to dance again has been a gift and has helped me gain confidence and trust in my body again. I’m so excited to be working with Trekstock to help young people reconnect with their bodies after a cancer diagnosis.
Dancing and movement is so healing. I can’t wait to work with you!
