Trekstock will be heading back to our favourites Underage and Field Day this weekend at Victoria Park so please jump aboard for some festival fun in the sun.
This Saturday Trekstock will be at Field Day so let’s all sample some musical delights together from the likes of one of our favourite bands Phoenix, Fake Blood, Simian Mobile Disco, Gilles Peterson, The Invisible and many more!!
What’s even better is that we’ll also be there on the Sunday too for the amazing Underage so feel free to pop by the Trekstock tent and say hello!
We’ll be joined by the amazing Ellie Goulding, Annie Mac, Jakwob, Daisy Dares You and Everything Everything but to name a few.

This year at Lovebox festival Trekstock was the official charity partner for the Friday & Saturday so we headed down with Trekstock badges in hand to try and recruit new supporters, listen to some amazing bands and get some interviews with some top musicians and celebs!
Our very own Jeff Leach was doing some interviews armed with his ‘lovebox’, asking the likes of Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding, The Maccabees, Coco Summer and our patron Mark Ronson all their love secrets (!) as well as chatting with them about what they’re up to, they’re favourite performances at Lovebox and their support of Trekstock.
Kitted out in volunteer t-shirts specially designed by our friend Henry Holland we managed to attract loads of interest from lovely new Trekstock supporters so thank you to everyone for your much appreciated donations and your interest in everything Trekstock! Showcasing the new limited edition band tees evoked loads of interest from the Lovebox crowd and if you’re interested in purchasing one of our amazing tees then please pop by our website to take a sneaky peak.
Backstage a Peavey guitar was being signed by the likes of Roxy Music, Mark Ronson, Ellie Goulding and many more and there is soon to be an exciting competition where the winner will get this super cool guitar all for themselves!
Once again, it was an amazing year at Lovebox where we not only gained some great new friends but also managed to see some brilliant bands. We hope to see you all there next year for lots of Lovebox fun!

We had some lovely famous faces pop by too including lovely Ellie Goulding and Edwin from Foals who signed some shirts for fans and showed their support.

Friday 2nd July sees the launch of the Trekstock ‘10,000 Hearts’ pop-up store just off Carnaby Street in London.
Some very special friends of Trekstock kindly modeled The Maccabees design as below so we couldn’t resist given you a sneak peak! All 11 amazing designs will be unveiled the shop on Friday so head down to 65-67 Broadwick Street to come and say hello to us in store!

We had a great time this weekend, helping celebrate Carnaby Street’s 50th anniversary!
‘Carnaby is proud to be working with music and fashion charity Trekstock - raising awareness and support for young people with cancer. This year Trekstock announced its new partnership with Cancer Research UK and first patron Mark Ronson.’
Bands performing on the Carnaby stage throughout the weekend included Connett, RedTrack, The Small Fakers, The Last Grand, The Universal and solo artist Eliza Doolittle who was there specially to support Trekstock, not only that she was amazing and a perfect end to the sunny Saturday!

Skindividual combines the task of setting up their ideal concert with a message to youngsters about sunburn, and builds on the success of last year’s campaign!
The winner will see their vision turned into a reality this summer with the help of a team of live music experts – including artist booking agents, gig promoters and web designers.
Young hopefuls will be given until 11th June to spell out in roughly 100 words their vision for the ultimate gig, including their ideas on how to make the skindividual concept a central theme.
A panel will shortlist the ten best gig creators, who will then be tasked with making a short YouTube film to promote their gig. The film that gets the greatest number of views will win the top prize.
They will also be given access to some of the best brains in the music industry, including NME editor Krissi Murison, Radio 1 Xtra presenter Max Akhtar, Bestival director Ben Turner and our own Sophie Epstone, founder of Trekstock!
On May 9th the courageous Zoe Peel headed up a Trekstock team with Lucy Shine and Bethany Lindfield to run the GDF SUEZ Leeds Half Marathon 2010 on behalf of the Trekstock charity!
The race started at 9.30am in Millennium Square, Leeds City Centre and not only did the girls raise over £700, they did it in an amazing time whilst wearing their Will Broome limited edition Trekstock t-shirts!

The Charities Campaign at the oldest University in Scotland has voted in Trekstock as one of it’s six official charities for the next academic year 2010-11!
Our favourite St. Andrews attendee and Trekstock Ambassador Freddie Fforde tells us;
“Each year the Campaign raises in excess of £65,000 for it’s nominated causes to be split between them equally. It also gives the charity a solid foothold amongst the students and Trekstock are delighted to kick off its presence in Scotland in this way.”
Freddie, a 2nd year student, will be busy over the next 16 months to make sure that the message gets through. “It’s a great way to kick things off up here.
It’s a small town and not hard to get people talking, and we’ve also got lots in the way of fashion and music up here. We will be forming a committee up here over the coming months and be looking at ways we can use the Trekstock brand in the best possible environment - a student town.”
We’re hoping to have our first gig in Scotland at St Andrews at some point next year to thank the students for their support, so keep an eye out if you’re in the area!
