MARK RONSON, BETH DITTO, HENRY HOLLAND AND PPQ POP ON THEIR I ♥ Trekstock” BADGES TO KICK OFF TREKSTOCK 2009 and together with your support we raise nearly £10k!

Every day in the UK, six teenagers find out they have cancer.  Trekstock is making a difference, giving back to it’s chosen charity ‘Teenage Cancer Trust’ through music and fashion.

On Wednesday 13th May 2009 Trekstock returned for its fourth summer of gigs in support of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Proud Gallery in Camden.  Mark Ronson headlined the sellout event with a mix including The Strokes, Motown classics and Jay Z and an impromptu live set with Stop Me and Change from Daniel Merriweather. Support was from the Cuban Brothers, DJ Yoda and Dan Greenpeace, James Theaker ‘NME Radio’ and Frank Musik!

Beth Ditto kept the music / fashion fraternity entertained pole dancing in the private stables with Will Young, Henry Holland, PPQs Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker, Holly Valance, Frank Musik, T4s Nick Grimshaw and Rick Edwards, celebrity stylists Sam Ranger and Lyndell Mansfield, Matt Horne, designers James Long and Maria Francesca Pepe, NME’s James Theaker, Y3s Camilla Jessen and various Voguettes!

The gig also marked the launch of the new Trekstock tshirt, bag and accessories range. The ‘must-have’ items for summer 2009 include a limited edition tote bag and T-shirt designed by Will Broome, limited edition printed tees by Kate Moross and Laura Lees and a made to order necklace by Tatty Devine.  Items are available on www.trekstock.com and the exclusive Will Broome totes are available from Urban Outfitters Oxford Circus store.  Plans are already in the mix for new collaborations for the coming season - to be announced shortly…
